Les Sables Roses, a Louis Vuitton fragrance, is an oriental floral scent centered around rose and oud, depicting the magnificent scene of a desert dawn. Created in 2019 by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, it is another masterpiece in Louis Vuitton’s “Oriental Fragrances” trilogy, following Ombre Nomade.
Core Notes: Featuring two legendary spices—rose (blended with delicate Bulgarian rose oil and rich Centifolia rose absolute) and oud. Ambergris adds a warm, marine touch, while saffron and black pepper add a spicy dimension.
Inspiration and Imagery: Inspired by a desert dawn—the magical moment when day and night meet, and the dunes and sky merge into a magnificent pink—the perfumer recreates this contrast of “cold and hot,” where the freshness of rose and the deep woody notes of oud complement each other, creating a fragrance that blends passion and cool elegance.
